RINGMAT REMOTE CONTROLLED ABSOLUTE PHASE INVERTER Ringmat Remote Controlled Absolute Phase Inverter This device is placed between the power outputs of the amplifier and the loudspeakers and is connected via loudspeaker cables from the output sockets on the back of the amplifier/power amplifier and the input sockets of the speaker terminals. It will enable the absolute phase of each channel to be individually inverted at the click of a button. There are no adverse effects on signals reaching the loudspeaker. It incorporates a mute button. A prototype of this product has been working in the Ringmat/QR Design evaluation system for some time with superb results and has been instrumental in the design testing of many recent products. It is far superior to the digital means of inversion found with some CD players. Commitments to other projects have unfortunately delayed the introduction of this product, but during 2006 we hope that it will eventually reach the production stage.
