STATMAT EXCHANGE
PROGRAM
There have been four generations of the Statmat for
CD and other digital disc players. When each new generation of
Statmat is introduced, it has been possible to upgrade to the new
version at a special price. Likewise, it has been possible to
replace a damaged or soiled Statmat at the same special price.
The original single film Statmat was launched in
September 1996. A year later it was replaced with a MkII version
and later by the MkII CDi. The MkII CDi is still the latest
single film version, though the film itself is now of more recent
vintage.
The fourth generation, the CDi Blue, is a two-film
version and is much more powerful (for more information, click
here).
To exchange an earlier version of the Statmat for a
more recent generation, just return the old Statmat in its packaging
to Ringmat Developments with the appropriate fee (see price list –
click here) or contact your
local dealer. If you live outside the UK, contact Ringmat
Developments or our regional overseas distributor (for a list of
overseas distributors, click
here).
Statmat Exchanges are made without full product
packaging, so if you no longer have the packaging to return to us to
use for the replacement, don’t panic,
contact Ringmat
Developments.
A limited number of the earlier Statmats are
available. They are best used with top loaders or where the drawer
mechanisms are not too fast.
